Have a few hours a month to spend helping your community and looking for a way to volunteer on your own schedule? Provide a valuable service to your neighbors by participating in Jamesville-DeWitt’s Friends In Service Here (FISH).
J-D FISH is a community organization where volunteers drive neighbors, who live in the Jamesville-DeWitt School District and who are in need of transportation to medical appointments. This is a community-based, fully volunteer program, with no religious affiliation.

Our community appears affluent, so it’s easy to forget that there are those who are hungry among us. We support the Jamesville Ecumenical Food Pantry by collecting items on an on-going basis.
Donations may be placed in the carts by the entrances. Please have all items in before the second Monday of the month, when Bob and Faith Hall deliver them.
The J-D Ecumenical Food Pantry is in need of the following items: Macaroni ‘n’ Cheese, Tuna Fish, Baked Beans and/or Pork ‘n’ Beans, Tomato Sauces (diced, crushed, puree, or stewed), Canned Pears, Mayonnaise, Pancake Mix, Syrup, Sloppy Joe Mix, Shampoo, Toothpaste.
Drop your donations in the food pantry shopping cart in the lobby.
Vacation Bible School

Are you organized, creative, and love children? We are looking for a group of dedicated people who have a heart and passion for children and their growing relationships with God!
If you are interested in being on the committee for this year’s VBS, please contact Marissa Coir at mcoir@dewittchurch.org.
Help the Children’s Ministry by sharing coupons to buy snacks, drinks and other goodies for our church’s kids. Drop off coupons at the Welcome Desk in the children’s area. Volunteers will stock the Children’s Ministry and donate other good deals to the Jamesville Ecumenical food pantry. All we need are coupons, coupons, coupons!
We are always in need of peanut-free snacks (fruit snacks, Goldfish crackers, animal crackers, etc.) and apple juice for the Nursery. Donations are greatly appreciated!
If you have an hour or two hours a week to spare, the church office is seeking additional volunteers for these areas: data entry, offering count, filing, proofreading, and answering phones. Contact the church office at 445-0331 for more information.
