Adult Ministry

At DCC we are dedicated to cultivating communities that provide the opportunity to develop a deeper relationship with God and with one another. Our various small groups are a great way to connect with other Christians, explore one’s faith and be supported by a caring and nurturing community.

Whether you are new and have little experience with Christianity or if you have grown up in the church, joining a small group means you will become a part of a community where you can grow in your faith with people you care about and who care about you.

This winter, we have groups that cover everything from studying the Bible, to planning your finances, to discovering your personal spiritual gifts. Come to grow and to meet new friends. We encourage you to try a group and if you decide it is not what you expected, then you are under no obligation to stay for the entire class. Sunday Bible Study: Genesis

Women’s Bible Study

Dates: Mondays, February 13 – May 7 / Time: 6:30 – 8:30 PM

Study from Beth Moore’s Breaking Free, and it will give all of us the opportunity to do just that ‐ break free from all that might be keeping us from completely enjoying God’s peace, presence and power in our lives! Group meets together as a larger group that breaks into smaller groups for deeper study later in the evening. The previous week’s video is repeated each Monday at 5:30 PM in the Parlor.

Sharing Life Study Group

Dates: every other Sunday ‐ ongoing / Time: 4:00‐6:00 PM

Focusing on building community while growing spiritually. Dinner with a study following. Childcare available for young children at $5 per child.

Living With Loss Grief Group

This group is currently on break until April.

If you have lost a loved one, you will feel the sun shining in your life again. Until you do, we are bearing each other’s burdens.
