Our Children’s Ministry
Our children’s ministry is a priority at DeWitt Community Church. Our heartbeat is to provide a safe, loving environment where kids can experience God’s love, learn His truths and grow in community together. We hope your children will join us for fun and learning as we dive into God’s Word and explore His truths together.
Here’s a schedule of our Sunday School programs and nursery care:
- Nursery Care for infants through 3 years is offered at both the 9:00 am & 10:45 am services.
- A multi-age Sunday School is offered during the 9:00 am service.
- Special Sunday School classes for ages 3-5, and 1st-6th grades are offered during the 10:45 am service.

Spring Pick-up: Monday, March 15th—Saturday, March 20th
Our Sunday School classrooms need some “spit & shine”! We need your help to help organize, clean, & take inventory for each classroom. Can you help?
Sign-up (in pairs if you want!) at church, by email, or by phone to help out the week of March 15th. If you have an hour or two during that week to stop in & be of good use, sign-up! The Spring Pick-up sign-up sheet is located on the Sunday School bulletin board by the elevator. Contribute to our growing children’s ministry by giving some of your time to help make these classrooms shine! Thank you!
Hands for Haiti
Following the devastating earthquake in Haiti, our Sunday School classes stepped into action. The children demonstrated BIG love and designed placemats to be sold for $5. All proceeds will benefit Haitian survivors through Church World Service. So far, we have raised $150! Leftover placemats will be for sale in the church office. Thank you for supporting our kids and supporting DCC’s mission of hope & love to those who are in great need.
