Our Youth Ministry
The Youth Ministry at DeWitt Community Church offers the following classes and programs . . .
Junior High
Our Junior High class for 7th graders focuses on issues relevant to middle school students today. The lessons encourage our youth to turn to God when dealing with tricky adolescent issues. Students spend time in class discussing topics such as peer pressure, friendships, decision making, alcohol and drugs, materialism, and racism. Join us Sundays at 10:45am in Room 10!
Confirmation
Our Confirmation program is open to all 8th-12th Grade students who wish to be confirmed. This program is a celebration of our youth as they assume responsibility for their own faith development. Students learn to resemble more closely in their lifestyle the beliefs and values of Jesus.
The class is a combination of several components. Our curriculum covers Christian basics such as the Ten Commandments, Time with God, Spiritual Gifts, and Prayer. It includes personal time with our Senior Minister, Fellowship and Stewardship Activities. Each Confirmant will choose an Adult Mentor who can guide them on their Faith Journey.
We meet in the Shuffleboard Room (Rooms 11-12) on Sundays at 10:45am. The course runs from early fall to late spring, when Confirmation Sunday takes place.
Senior High
Our Dynamic Senior High Program guides 9th-12th graders on their journeys towards spiritual awareness and a personal relationship with God. Teens learn and discuss scripture through teaching, multimedia presentations, discussion, and mission projects.
We meet in the Youth Room beneath the Sanctuary every Sunday at 10:45am. See you there!

Breakaway
Breakaway is for anyone finishing 6th-8th grades. You will have crazy fun every time, and you will get to hear about God and how He is also crazy fun! Wednesdays, 7-8:30pm at Holy Cross Church unless otherwise noted*:

WyldLife Camp
WyldLife Camp, for middle schoolers grades 6th-8th is an awesome time to get away. It is being held from July 24th-28th in the beautiful Catskill Mountains at Lake Champion. For more information contact PaulCoir@gmail.com.
